What does Planet Vet do?
At Planet Vet, we create destination veterinary CPD conferences designed especially for Australian veterinarians.
We organise boutique, all-inclusive CPD events that bring high-quality veterinary education to beautiful destinations.
We want to make learning both meaningful and enjoyable.
Our conferences take place in Australia and nearby destinations to minimise travel time.

We take care of the planning, the details, and the logistics, so you can focus on learning, connecting with other vets, and taking a well-deserved break — all while completing your CPD requirements.
Who is Planet Vet for?
If you are an Australian vet, and you care about being good at what you do, you enjoy connecting with fellow veterinarians, you love travelling, and you are curious about discovering the animal wonders of our planet. You're in the right place!
What is Planet Vet's purpose?
Planet Vet was created by vets who understand how busy, demanding, and sometimes exhausting this profession can be.
We started Planet Vet because we wanted CPD to feel less like an obligation and more like a reward.

What is the cancellation policy?
We understand things can change. That's why we give you a full refund on your booking fee up until 90 days prior to the event.
Past this deadline, we're unable to provide you with any refund.
What is included in the conference package?
A Planet Vet conference package typically includes:
- attendance to the veterinary conference | 20hrs CPD
- the corresponding CPD certificate (sent by email)
- a special welcome dinner on the first night
- accommodation, usually 7 nights | see event details
- breakfast & dinner at the venue
- one or two organised group activities depending on the event | see each event details
NB: Please note, flights and alcoholic beverages are not included in the package.
Can my partner come too?
Yes, you can definitely invite your parter to join us too. You can share your room with your loved one, your friend or a vet colleague. They can also join us on our group activities - activities tickets are sold separately. However, each room requires at least one vet.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. If planed in advance, we can arrange a personalised payment plan that suits your needs, provided full payment is received 90 days ahead of the event.
A $100 admin fee applies.

Are Planet Vet events recognised for veterinary CPD?

Yes. Our conferences are designed to meet Australian veterinary continuous professional development requirements. After the event, you will receive a e-certificate of attendance outlining the CPD hours you have completed.
We usually aim to provide 20 hours of professional education at each event, however this may vary slightly between conference, so please check the specific events details.
Do I need to organise anything myself ?
Yes. But very little.
We take care of accommodation, conference venue, most meals, activities, and logistics. You simply organise your flights, travel insurance, visas & vaccinations (if necessary) and any personal extras you'd like to add.
